Sustainability is a challenge that sees Laborplast at the forefront
Laborplast sees future as the result of a joint project, where sustainability is systemic and directly involves environmental, social and economic development. This is known as the 3P Strategy, or “Triple Bottom Line.”
Laborplast has joined Treedom’s “Let’s green the Planet” project helping to plant a 400 trees forest in Cameron, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Kenya, Madagascar and Tanzania.
Laborplast is a partner of Operation Clean Sweep® (OCS), the international program involving the production chain of the plastic sector. The aim is to reduce the dispersion into the environment of powders, granules and fibers deriving from the production, transportation and handling of granules and plastic products.
Laborplast supports Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano (FAI) and contributes to the protection of our country’s landscape, artistic and cultural heritage.
To highlight the company’s awareness of this issue, Laborplast draws up the Sustainability Report. This document is used to share the company’s ESG process, goals and future projects with company stakeholders, employees, customers and suppliers.

In 2020, Laborplast commissioned on a voluntary basis the first Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) study to assess the impact of its products on the ecosystem. This study, renewed in 2022, shows that recycled PVC items have a lower environmental impact than similar virgin PVC products.

Laborplast has obtained the Legality Rating, an indicator of compliance with high standards of legality issued by the Italian Competition Authority (AGCM) in agreement with the Ministry of the Interior and Justice. Laborplast has obtained the renewal of the legality rating for the period April 2024 - April 2026 with code RT3614, issued by the Competition and Market Authority with the maximum score.
Laborplast has achieved an ESG score of 71 out of 100 from Cerved Rating Agency, the company that guides businesses in strategic decisions and has assessed the environmental, social, and governance performance of the company.
Laborplast guarantees gender equality in the workplace - Uni/PdR 125:2022 standard certified by Dasa-Rägister. The objective is to offer all collaborators a workplace where women and men have access to the same opportunities and conditions.
By joining the program 'Workplace that promotes Health - WHP Workplace Health Promotion Lombardia', Laborplast undertakes to adopt positive behaviors and choices for the health of its employees.
