Laborplast has obtained a new certification from TUV Italia. It attests that the energy management system in the production of PVC compounds, cores, and semi-finished products through extrusion processes complies with the requirements of the UNI CEI EN ISO 50001:2018 standard.
This allows the identification and monitoring of energy usage in terms of plants, systems, processes, and equipment. This achievement is in line with the commitment to maintain an integrated management system for Quality, Health and Safety in the Workplace, Environment, and Energy.
Mattia Pariani, Quality, Environment, Safety, and Energy Manager at Laborplast, commented: "In our daily activities, it is essential for us to promote a culture that encourages the rational use of energy through the selection of new technologies with lower energy consumption. An objective that we intend to pursue also through the adoption of certain tools, including the voluntary publication of the ESG Document and the drafting of the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) document, which, already in 2020 and again in 2022, allowed us to diagnose our processes for the purpose of reducing energy usage."
